We'll list here resources that we have used in developing the maps, and also the many sources of information about Clerkenwell and its history. The cards in the gallery contain links to references in Wikipedia and other sources. So far we've used British History Online extensively, and earlier trails. For example:

We used Mike Franks 1977 trail, together with additional information for this 2019 draft trail. We also drew on local people's nominations of local places of interest, shared in a Connecting Clerkenwell workshop in October 2018.
