Anti-Apartheid Legacy
About
About
Between 1978 and 1994, 28 Penton Street was the headquarters of the African National Congress (ANC) in London, and the nerve centre for the international struggle against South African apartheid. The building was bombed by South African security services in 1982, destroying the ANC's printing facilities. In 2025 it will open as an exhibition space and archive of anti-apartheid activism
